Netflix font
The Netflix logo is the company’s own lettering, not a font; the first one, until 2014, was probably based on the typeface Graphique. Since 2018 Netflix sets its brand in Netflix Sans, a typeface of its own. These free fonts have the logo’s tall, condensed capitals.

02 / The lettering, and your questions
01
What font does Netflix use?
The logo used from 1997 to 2014 may be custom lettering, but was probably based on the typeface Graphique. Source: Fonts In Use: the logo
Netflix Sans was made by the company’s own designers with the foundry Dalton Maag, and announced in March 2018. Source: Fonts In Use: Netflix Sans
02
Is the Netflix font free?
No. The logo is lettering, and Netflix Sans was made for Netflix’s own use. The fonts on this page are free, free for commercial use too, under open licences.
03
How do I use these fonts in Canva?
Search Canva’s font menu for the font’s name: Canva publishes no list of its fonts, so the menu is the only way to know. If it isn’t there, Canva Pro and Teams can upload a font file: get it from the font’s page here.
On the free plan, make a PNG of your words in the font generator and upload it as an image.
04
And in Cricut Design Space?
Install the font on your computer from its page here: Design Space lists the fonts on your computer as system fonts. Or type your words in the font generator and download the SVG: its letters come welded, to cut in one piece. More in Cricut fonts.
05
Can I use them on things I sell?
The fonts, yes: every font on this page is under an open licence that allows commercial use, on shirts, signs, cards and logos. But Netflix and its logo are someone else’s trademarks: a design that copies the logo or uses the name can still need the owner’s permission. This is a plain answer, not legal advice.
