Stroke order
  1. 1Start with a small hook at the top left and slant down into a round cup on the baseline.
  2. 2Swing up to the top line on the right.
  3. 3Slant straight back down to the baseline and curve out into the next letter.

U ends on the baseline and joins: Uma, Utah.

Its right side comes back down to the baseline. Stop it at the top and it is V; drop it through the baseline into a loop and it is Y.
