Cursive capital P

Cursive capital P is a stem with a single bump at the top that comes back to the stem halfway down, so it stands apart from the next letter.

Stroke order
  1. 1Start on the left above the midline and swing up to the top line.
  2. 2Slant straight down to the baseline.
  3. 3Go back up the stem and curve forward into a round bump.
  4. 4Bring the bump back to the stem, just below the midline.
Where it joins
P ends against its stem, halfway down, so the next letter starts with its own upstroke: Paul, Paris.
Mixed up with

P, B and R start the same way. P stops after one bump; B adds a second, R a leg.
