Cursive capital B is a straight stem with two bumps on its right, the lower one fuller; it ends at its stem and does not join.

- 1Start on the left above the midline and swing up to the top line.
- 2Slant straight down to the baseline.
- 3Go back up the stem and curve forward into a small bump that turns in a little loop at the middle.
- 4Curve forward again into a fuller bump down to the baseline, and finish back toward the stem.

- B ends at the foot of its stem, away from the next letter, which starts with its own upstroke: B, then e, in Ben.
- Mixed up with
P and R start the same way, with the stem and a bump at the top. B has two bumps, the lower one larger; P stops after one, and R adds a leg.
