Cursive k is a tall loop with a small closed loop at the midline and a short leg that kicks out along the baseline.

- The kick of its leg is the joining stroke: it ends on the baseline and leads into the next letter. After b, o, v and w its loop rises straight from their stroke at the midline, as in “ok”.

k is h with a knot: where h has a round hump, k has a small closed loop and a leg. Print k’s straight arm and leg are gone.
